We aren't done congesting low-earth-orbit (LEO) just yet. Emirati firm, Madari Space, are planning to launch data centers in LEO. The goal is to "have the ability to store and process [data generated by satellites] in space, enabling the data owners to make informed decisions in real time.” The details are sparse and the first launch is supposedly planned for Q3 2026.
