Building your own blogging tools is a fun journey

Andre Garzia talks about how they created a browser extension to use as their blog posting interface.

This is part of making my web browser of choice not only a web browser but a web making tool. I’m integrating all I need to write posts into the browser itself and thus diminishing the distance between browsing the web and making the web.

This is interesting to me for a few reasons. Firstly because it's a mode of creating posts I hadn't though of before and it removes any friction between browsing the web and writing. I can see this being useful while sharing these links.
